How often should gutters be cleaned?

Once a year is a good rule - typically autumn after leaves have fallen. If you have trees nearby, twice a year is better. Blocked gutters overflow against the fascia board, causing rot, and can saturate the soil against your foundations over time. We can clean gutters at the same visit as any repair work.
